A Scented Experience: Aysha Hansen Perfume Workshop Joins Tourism Australia’s Hot List
In June 2025, Tourism Australia unveiled its Hot List - a curated selection of new experiences across the country that promise to surprise and delight. Among the highlights featured was our boutique fragrance workshop.
Perfume As An Experience
The workshop invites guests to step into the artistry of perfumery, offering an intimate glimpse into how fragrance is composed, led by independent Australian perfumer Aysha Hansen. Over the course of two hours, participants explore a palette of more than 70 premium and refined ingredients. From luminous florals and sparkling citrus to earthy resins and gourmand notes, the collection spans the spectrum of scent.
Each guest is guided through the delicate process of blending top, heart, and base notes, ultimately crafting a fragrance that is uniquely their own. The experience is both tactile and sensory and is completed with a take home, custom 30ml Eau de Toilette. Their formula is recorded, allowing them to reorder their signature scent in the future.
