Paperback Perfumes Podcast: My Story in Scent

I had the pleasure of joining Paperback Perfumes to share the story behind my journey into perfumery — a path shaped by memory, intuition, and a love of fragrance that’s been with me for as long as I can remember.

In this episode, I talk about how scent became a language for me, and how a significant turning point in my life led me to pursue perfumery professionally. I reflect on my early career in the cosmetics industry, the role scent has played in my own healing, and why teaching and hosting Aysha Hansen Fragrance Workshops has become such an important part of what I do.

We also explore some bigger ideas — resilience, human connection, and what nature can teach us about instinct, trust and survival. It’s a beautifully open conversation that I’m proud to have been part of.
